20 without water as crews repair sink hole that Richmond fire truck got stuck in

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A fire truck got stuck in a small sinkhole in a Richmond neighborhood Wednesday morning.

The truck got stuck in a sink hole in the 3100 block of Noble Ave. near Rennie Ave.

About 20 customers that live in the area are without water service as crews make repairs to a water leak. There’s been no time estimated as to when crews will finish repairs.

The issue had been reported three days prior on ‘See Click Fix,’ a platform that the city uses to track, manage and reply to reports of non-emergency issues. The city had acknowledged the request and it was “submitted to the city agencies for review and appropriate action,” according to the site.

No injuries were reported and a tow truck is pulling the fire truck out of the hole.
