HENRICO, Va. (WRIC) – Four adults were arrested and charged Tuesday, after police say they used heroin in a parked vehicle while a child was inside.
On March 31, police located a suspicious parked at an inoperable car wash in the 2600 block of St. Claire Lane. As officers walked up to the vehicle, they observed a woman trying to inject a man with heroin.
There was another man and woman in the vehicle, as well as a 4-year-old child.
During the course of their investigation, police discovered that the adult passengers had purchased heroin and parked at the car wash to use it.
All four adults were charged in the incident:
Christopher Warfield Bullock, 32, and Mindy Sue Johnson, 29, were charged with possession of heroin, child endangerment, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Joshua Grubbs, 25, was charged with with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and providing false identification to law enforcement.
Loren Ashley Sherron, 25, was charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
The child was placed in the custody of the Department of Social Services.
