RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Sunshine will begin our day but a few clouds will develop during the afternoon leading to partly sunny skies.
It will be windy today with southwest winds shifting northwest this afternoon and ranging from 15 to 25 mph with locally higher gusts. The humidity will be very low this afternoon and with the dry brush around we have an enhanced risk of fire danger for today, so please pay attention to local burn laws that are in effect and really today is not the day to burn any yard waste at all.
Skies will be clear tonight and it will be chilly with lows in the upper 30’s to lower 40’s.
Wednesday will be a sunny and seasonable day with highs in the lower 60’s.
We will climb back into the 70’s for Thursday and Friday with mostly sunny skies around for Thursday but clouds will increase on Friday. Showers will develop late Friday night and early Saturday morning and we could have some period of rain early Saturday before that weather system moves off of the coast.
High temperatures on Saturday will climb into the lower 60’s.
Easter Sunday is looking very nice with highs in the middle 60’s under sunny to mostly sunny skies.
Partly sunny skies will be around for Monday, the first day of spring break, with highs around 70.
