Angelina Jolie attended the Kids’ Choice Award with two of her children on Saturday night. This was her first appearance post-surgery.

Her daughters Shiloh and Zahara were sitting next to her at the award show, hugging their mom when she won the award for Best Villain for her role in the Disney movie “Maleficent.”

Last week, Jolie made the decision to remover her ovaries and Fallopian tubes after testing positive for signs of early ovarian cancer.  Her mother died from the same type of cancer in 2007.

Jolie had the surgery just two years after having a double mastectomy.

Jolie appeared healthy and elegant at the award show.  In her acceptance speech she said it was good to be different.

“Don’t fit in, don’t sit still, don’t ever try to be less than what you are and when someone tells you that you are different, smile and hold your head up high and be proud,” she said.

At the end of her speech, she says, “As your villain,” Jolie said, “I would say, ‘Cause a little trouble. It is good for you.'”
