RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Well winter finally comes to an end tonight at 6:45pm and it looks like a return to spring like temperatures will be on tap for much of the next 8 days. (But don’t be fooled, I see a burst of cooler weather before Easter arrives.)
Tonight, the clouds will start to break overnight in the area, but with the moisture around it could get foggy in many spots. Overnight lows will be in the lower to middle 30s.
Saturday will end up being sunny, but allow a little while for the fog to burn off. It will be mild in the afternoon with highs in the lower to middle 60s. A cold front will move through the area on Saturday night bringing some clouds to the area.
Sunday will be partly cloudy and cooler with highs in the mid to upper 50s.
Early next week a weak storm passes to the south of our area. That will keep Monday cloudy and somewhat cool, but 8News weather experts think the rain will pretty much miss us.
In the middle of next week we warm dramatically with highs up to near 70 by Thursday. However a cold front approaches on Thursday into Friday with showers and may be a thunderstorm on tap.
Friday could end up being rather rainy in the area if the front stalls out just to the east of us.
