RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Sunny skies will be over Central Virginia today but the wind will be out of the north, making it much cooler than yesterday.
Our high temperatures will only top out in the lower to middle 50’s. It will be clear and cold tonight with lows near 32.
We will have some early sunshine on your Thursday but clouds will increase during the day leading to a cloudy evening commute. It will still be cool on Thursday with highs in the upper 40’s to near 50. Rain showers will develop later Thursday night and last into the day on Friday.
We could see between a half inch to three-quarter inches of rain during that time period.
Friday will be a very chilly day with that rain as highs only climb into the middle 40’s.
The sunshine will return for Saturday with highs near 60. Another cold front will drop in on Saturday night, but it will cross through dry, so we will just have a temperature change for Sunday.
We will see partly sunny skies with highs in the middle 50’s.
Monday looks even cooler with highs in the upper 40’s under partly sunny skies.
We are watching a weather system on Tuesday that looks to pass south of the region, however at this point I will keep the risk of rain showers in with highs in the lower to middle 40’s.
