RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — It will be a very warm day with highs in the upper 70’s to near 80 across Central Virginia under mostly sunny to partly sunny skies.
The wind will kick up this afternoon and be blowing out of the west from 15 to 25 mph. This will be just ahead of the cold front passing through later this afternoon and evening. Behind that front will be a push of much cooler air. It will be chilly tonight with lows in the upper 30’s under clear skies.
Wednesday will be a decent day with highs in the middle 50’s under sunny skies.
Clouds will increase on Thursday with some light rain showers developing in the afternoon and evening with highs around 50.
More showers are likely on Friday and it will remain chilly with highs in the upper 40’s.
The sunshine will return on Saturday with highs in the upper 50’s and lower 60’s. Another cold front will pass through later Saturday afternoon but no rain is associated with this front only another push of cooler air.
Sunday and Monday will be slightly cooler with highs in the lower to middle 50’s under partly to mostly sunny skies.
