GOOCHLAND COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Police have seized a truck they believe could be connected to the murder of a Goochland man.
62-year old Alvin Lynn Brooking was found dead in his home on Whitehall Road last week.
This morning, investigators are asking anyone who may have seen the 2001 Ford F-150 in the Sandy Hook/Goochland area anywhere between March 1st and 2nd to contact them right away.
Meanwhile, Brooking’s family is just hoping for answers.
“Whoever did this to Lynn eventually justice will be served and the whole family and relatives and friends in Sandy Hook and Goochland area hope that you do get caught,” Tereall Jones, nephew of victim said to 8News. “Your time will come too.”
Police say there were no signs of forced entry and think the murderer was probably someone Lynn knew.
If you have seen that truck call the CrimeStoppers at 780-1000.
