Lebanese television host Rima Karaki found herself arguing with a guest on her show after he refused to answer her questions directly.
The guest, Muslim scholar Hani Al Seba’i, had been invited on to discuss the recent wave of Christians joining ISIS. Instead of the decided upon topic, though, Seba’i began talking about historical precedent.
Karaki asked him to focus on current issues, but Al Seba’i became combative.
“Please don’t get all worked up,” the journalist asked. “We respect you and know you want to give a complete answer.”
But Al Seba’i retorted: “Are you done? Shut up, so I can talk.”
She replied, asking how he could be so rude.
Seba’i then said it was beneath him to be interviewed by her.
Karaki cut off his transmission completely.
