Richmond Extends Win Streak to Four In a Row

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (WRIC) – The Richmond Spiders are playing arguably their best basketball of the season right now. A win at St. Bonaventure, back to back wins at the Robins Center against George Washington and VCU, now a grind it out victory over St. Joseph’s has Chris Mooney’s team in the top half of the Atlantic 10.

Kendall Anthony scored a game high 23 points, one of three Spiders in double figures against the Hawks. TJ Cline, who kept Richmond alive against VCU with his layup in OT #1, was clutch once again. With 2:36 left in the game, Cline stepped up from the wing and nailed a three pointer, one of his three in the game, giving Richmond the fuel it needed to close out the game.

The Spiders stay on the road for a trip to UMass on Wednesday, March 4th.
