RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Mostly cloudy skies will be with us this morning as a weak weather disturbance slides to our north.
Our winds will shift to the north behind this weather system allowing for drier and colder air to blow into the region. This will bring us clearing skies during the afternoon and our temperatures will remain cold for this time of year with highs only in the middle to upper 30’s. It will be clear and cold tonight with lows in the middle to upper teens.
Saturday will be mostly sunny but cold with highs in the middle 30’s.
Sunshine will start off your Sunday but an approaching weather system will bring us more clouds in the afternoon and it will be milder with highs in the middle 40’s. Showers will develop later Sunday night and continue into Monday.
That weather system will be around us for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, pushing north and south, giving varying temperatures and a chance of showers or rain each day. Highs on Monday will climb into the lower 50’s, but slip back into the 40’s for Tuesday but then climb into the 60’s and possibly 70’s if we can get rid of all this snow by Wednesday!
Behind this weather system we look to dry out for Thursday and Friday with highs in the middle 40’s on Thursday and middle 50’s by Friday.
