CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WRIC) — The community is coming together to help the family of a Chesterfield woman killed in a weekend car crash.
Natali Castellanos-Tyler was a wife and mother of three.
Her 2-year-old daughter was in the car when Natali lost control and crashed into a tree on Genito Road. Fortunately, the child wasn’t hurt.
Natli’s husband spoke with 8News after his wife’s death.
“The biggest thing about her she made everybody smile,” Craig Tyler told 8News reporter Kristin Smith.
Through his grief, he clings to the memorable moments he spent with Natali. He also holds tight to their children, Elissa, who’s two and 13 month old Ian.
“We’ll have pictures and videos and we’ll have moments where we can share who momma was to help them rekindle those moments that they wont get,” Tyler adds.
Natali’s sister, Marcela Castellanos, spoke through tears.
“She loved them so much, always thought about them all the time. It’s just so hard to think that she’s gone,” says Castellanos.
Now the community is giving back, contributing thousands of dollars to the family through a Go Fund Me account.
