Edmund Sherod, Sr. couldn’t have known when he was starring at John Marshall High School that he would create a line of dominant local high school basketball players, but that is just what he has done.
The former Justice moved on to VCU and then to the NBA, where he played with the New York Knicks.
He had a son, Edmund, Jr. Junior also starred at JM, and then he moved on to play at Old Dominion.
In 2014, the third installment of the Sherod dynasty is tearing up the court for St. Christopher’s. Nick Sherod is the Saints’ all-time leading scorer, and he is poised to lead St. Chris to a state title this season.
