RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — After almost a week of snow days, many kids and parents have come down with cabin fever.
Speeding down a hill on a sled will wear kids out.
But what else works?
How about an hour or two at a trampoline park?
Instead of bouncing off the walls at home, Shannon Martyn and her two kids spent the afternoon getting their jump on at Jumpology.
“We’re trying to burn some energy and hopefully get through the afternoon and hopefully sleep well tonight,” explained Martyn.
We asked 8News viewers to share how they’re spending these snow days.
We received photos of lots of kiddos getting creative in the kitchen, baking pretzels and making snow cream.
Outside, one little one built Iron Snowman.
Another made sweet snow angels.
A group of high schoolers ditched snow pants for swimsuits and jumped in a hot tub.
No question, kids love snow days.
But so do some parents.
“I want another snow day. Every time Andy Jenks calls, we’re like yay at our house,” Jenifer Fletcher said.
She’s loved spending every single moment with her kids this week.
