Watch the Irresistible Puppy-Horse Super Bowl Ad by Budweiser

Budweiser is bringing back its winning “dog and pony show” for its Super Bowl XLIX advertisement. It’s one-minute spot, called “Lost Dog,” features an adorable puppy and its cross-species friendship theme once again.

The role of the Budweiser Clydesdale trainer was played for a third time by actor Don Jeanes.

Like its popular “Puppy Love” ad last year, this one takes place on a ranch outside of Santa Barbara, California, in early December, features another puppy who escapes from its owner.

But will the ad drive viewers to drink a beer?

Paired with the song “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles),” performed by Sleeping At Last, the puppy-horse combo may be enough a tear or two.

Though the ad looks like it uses one more irresistible puppy, it actually used EIGHT! Seven females and one male, all 11 to 12.5 weeks old, were all a part of the filming.

And another seven Budweiser Clydesdales underwent training for months to fine-tune their acting skills for the ad, Budweiser said.
