CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. (WRIC) — A missing teen from Chrisiansburg who was believed to be in danger of sexual exploitation has been located.
16-year-old Aysia Lewis was found safe in Little Rock, Arkansas, just after midnight Friday.
The man she was believed to be with, Donald “Bruce” Quesenberry, Jr., is also in the custody of Little Rock Police.
Lewis had last been seen on Monday. On Wednesday, police issued an endangered missing child alert, which was cancelled early Friday morning.
It’s believed Quesenberry travelled from Normal, Illinois, to Christiansburg, Virginia, where he picked up Lewis. Then, the two headed southwest where they were located in Arkansas.
Lewis and Quesenberry were taken into custody without incident.
Police tell our sister station WSLS in Roanoke that the two met online and that Lewis left with Quesenberry willingly, but police believed she was in danger of sexual exploitation.
Additional charges against Quesenberry are pending.
