RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — High pressure is building southeast of the area this morning and this will promote a period of calm, quiet weather for the next few days across Central Virginia before it shifts offshore.
Winds out of the west will help our temperatures run above average through much of the week with highs in the low to even mid-50s right into Thursday.
Wednesday we watch for a weak disturbance passing through that will not only briefly increase our clouds but also bring the chance for a few light showers during the day, nothing major.
Continuing to watch the model discussion on the potential for storm developing towards the end of the week and this weekend. The majority of the models are keeping the storm just barely to our south at the current time but there has still been a push further north than previous model runs so of course it bears watching over the week ahead.
