RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A very weak area of snow showers and flurries moved through the region last night and a few flurries may still linger around this morning.
Skies will be generally cloudy today and it will remain chilly with highs in the upper 30’s to lower 40’s. Breaks will begin to develop in the clouds this evening and tonight and will be cold with lows near 30.
Partly sunny skies will be with us on Friday and we will finally get back to normal and even slightly above with highs approaching 50 in many areas.
Saturday will feature plenty of sunshine with highs in the middle to upper 40’s.
A weather system will develop along the east coast on Sunday morning and that will spread clouds into the region and then rain by the afternoon. Some of the rain might be locally heavy. High temperatures on Sunday will be cool with highs in the middle 40’s.
Partly sunny skies will return behind that system for Monday and Tuesday with highs around 50.
Wednesday will be nice with sunshine and highs in the lower 50s.
Clouds will return to the region on Thursday with highs in the upper 40s to near 50, ahead of our next weather system for Friday.
