Randolph-Macon alone atop ODAC with work left to do

The Randolph-Macon Yellow Jackets walloped archrival Hampden-Sydney Wednesday in Farmville 77-55. In doing so, they extended their winning streak to nine games and moved to 5-0 in the ODAC. That’s good enough for first place outright.

Head Coach Nathan Davis: “It’s only the fifth one. We’ve got 11 more ODAC games to go. We’re going to focus on the next thing, and the next thing for us will be to go back and focus on Roanoke on Saturday.”

Freshman forward Mike Silverthorn: “It’s going to be a great future. We’re happy about the past, but we’re not going to live too much in it. We’re going to remember that we’ve got the future to come, and we’re hopefully going to take down a national championship in the future.”
