Colonial Heights Police have taken two juveniles in custody in relation to an armed robbery of the Corner Market Exxon on Boulevard on January 11th.
Police say that at just before 5:30 PM, a male suspect entered the store wearing a Spider-Man mask. He displayed a handgun and demanded money from the clerk.
After obtaining money and cigarettes, the suspect fled the store and was last seen running behind the business. Within five minutes, officers responding to the call located a suspect in the 200 block of Norfolk Avenue. This suspect, a 16 year old from Colonial Heights, was identified as the person who had committed the Armed Robbery and was taken into custody. The suspect was charged with Armed Robbery and Grand Larceny.
A second suspect, a 14 year old from Colonial Heights, was apprehended a few days later and charged with Armed Robbery, Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony, Grand Larceny and Conspiracy.
Both suspects are being held at the Chesterfield County Juvenile Detention Center.
