RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Today makes for a very cold start in Central Virginia with many areas in the upper single digits to lower teens,
Factor in the wind and it feels more like 0° to 5°. The sunshine will be out today, but our high temperatures will be hard pressed to climb much above the lower and middle 20’s. Skies will be clear early tonight but a few clouds will increase after midnight. Those clouds will keep us “warmer” than this morning with our overnight lows only dropping in the middle and upper teens.
Friday will feature partly sunny skies as a cold front passes by to our north.
That cold front will bring us another push of cold air for Saturday. High temperatures on Friday will top out in the upper 30’s while Saturday will only be around 32.
Partly sunny skies will return for Sunday and it will begin to “warm up” with highs in the lower 40’s.
Our next weather system will bring us rain showers on Monday with highs only in the lower 40’s.
Partly sunny skies will return for Tuesday with highs in the middle 40’s.
Looking ahead to next Wednesday and Thursday, clouds will increase as another weather system tried to come our way. This system looks to bring us more rain by Thursday.
