RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) – Craiglists users trying to sell their six pitbull puppies were robbed at gunpoint Wednesday.
Police say that the robbery occurred at 4:14 p.m. in the 1900 block of Chelsea Street.
Two victims planned to sell six pit bull puppies that they had advertised on Craigslist. When they met the buyers, they were robbed at gunpoint.
Shots were fired by the suspects when the owners of the puppies attempted to follow the suspects.
The first suspect is described as a black male with a beard, 5 feet 8 inches tall with a skinny build. He was wearing black jeans, a black shirt, a black coat and a black skull cap. He was armed with a handgun.
The second suspect is described as a black male standing at 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 125 pounds and wearing a white hoodie with black jeans and black skull cap.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
