Police: 3 Killed In Crash On Virginia Eastern Shore

KELLER, Va. (AP) – Virginia State Police say three people were killed in a head-on collision on the Eastern Shore.
Spokeswoman Corinne Geller says the crash occurred shortly after 8 p.m. Saturday. She says a van crossed the center line of U.S. Route 13 near Keller in Accomack County and hit a car.
The driver and two passengers in the car died at the scene. A third passenger was flown to Children’s Hospital of the Kings Daughters for treatment of life-threatening injuries. Two other passengers were taken to Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The driver of the van was not injured and was charged with drunken driving.
Names were not immediately released.
