It looks like some of the officers at the Kansas City Police Department have a colorful sense of humor!
A birthday prank officers played on their coworker is generating lots of buzz online.
On Tuesday, they covered another squad car with 4,000 sticky notes to mark fellow Officer Stuart Littlefield’s 50th birthday.
They even took the time to color coordinate the car with a yellow body, blue doors and pink tires.
Officer Littlefield was a good sport about the birthday prank.
“They got me good this time,” Officer Littlefield said. “This was supposed to be a low-key birthday. When you’re 50, you don’t want anyone to know about it and that kind of blew up in my face!”
The police bought all the post it notes themselves and prepared for the occasion while off the clock.
Officer Littlefield is planning a practical joke of his own that he plans to execute when he figures out which officers are responsible.
