Police Looking for Suspect in Prince William Co. Attempted Bank Robbery

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect involved in an attempted bank robbery in Woodbridge.

Officers got the call for the robbery around 10 a.m. They responded to the scene at a Bank of America in the 1700 block of Old Bridge Road in Prince William County.

Employees at the bank told police that an unknown man on a dark colored bicycle approached one of the drive-through teller speakers and demanded money. The suspect eluded to having a bomb in his backpack.

No money was taken and the suspect fled before police arrived. No injuries were reported.

Prince William County Police are looking for a white or light skinned male in his early to mid-20’s. He is approximately 5’10” to 6′ tall with a thin build standing at 150 pounds. The suspect was last seen wearing all black clothing including a hate, aviator sunglasses, and a bandana.
