Death Investigation In Hanover

HANOVER, Va. – Saturday, at approximately 6:30 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in the 10000 block of Georgetown Road for report of an adult male that was unresponsive.  Attempts to revive the victim were made by Hanover Fire-EMS, who later pronounced the victim dead at the scene.  

There were no obvious signs of trauma and no suspects are being sought at this time. Investigators are evaluating all evidence in this case and are working closely with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the cause and manner of death.  The name of the deceased will be released upon proper notification to the next-of-kin.
