McCollum Announces Intention to Run for Marsh’s Seat

On Monday, Rudolph “Rudy” C. McCollum, a private practice attorney and former Richmond city mayor, announced his intention to run for the seat of retiring senator Henry L. Marsh.

Marsh’ vacant seat in the 16th District will be filled through a special election to be held on November 4.

Earlier this month, Virginia State Delegate Rosalyn Dance also announced that she will seek Marsh’ seat. She will be running for the democratic nomination.
