Evanne joined the 8News team as a reporter in June 2014. She comes to Richmond from Charlottesville, where worked as a television reporter at WCAV and radio news anchor at WCHV.

Before moving to Virginia, Evanne worked in New York City at the FOX Business Network, writing news and helping produce segments and interviews for the Imus in the Morning program. She also spent time at 30 Rock as an intern for NBC’s TODAY Show.

Evanne is originally from Hartville, Ohio. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University. She served as chapter president for Sigma Kappa Sorority.

While in college, Evanne worked for the PBS and NPR affiliates in Athens. She also completed internships at WEWS-TV in Cleveland, WFMJ-TV in Youngstown and WNIR-FM in Akron.

She’s happy to make Richmond her home and is always on the hunt for the best Mexican food and drinks.
