Spotsylvania Man Arrested in String of Break-Ins

SPOTSYLVANIA
COUNTY, Va. (WRIC)—A 25-year-old Spotsylvania County man has been arrested in
connection with a string of break-ins in several Central Virginia counties.

Following
investigations by the Caroline, Hanover, Louisa and Spotsylvania Sheriff's
Offices, Daniel W. McFadden, of the 2800 block of Partlow Road, was arrested in
connection with a series of residential break-ins that occurred between July
2013 and February 2014.

McFadden has
been linked to at least a dozen cases in Caroline County alone; he was also
involved in similar incidents in Hanover, Louisa and Spotsylvania counties.

McFadden has
been charged with 12 burglaries and additional charges are possible. He is
being held at Rappahannock Regional Jail in Stafford County.

Caroline County
investigators say the investigation is ongoing.
