Sydney came from WRBL in Columbus, GA where she was the weekend anchor and investigative reporter. She covered regional and national stories including, the Midland City hostage crisis and the removal of Auburn University’s Toomer’s Corner oak trees.
After graduating from American University in 2008, Sydney traveled to Auckland, New Zealand, where she volunteered for a year as an associate producer and editor for a television series. After returning to the states she worked in Washington, D.C. as a production assistant at WUSA and as a freelance reporter.
Sydney hails from Chicago, but was raised in The Lone Star State. In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband and dog, reading, walking, traveling and volunteering in the community. She is a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Sydney takes great pride in being a voice for the community.
