Traffic Stop Leads To McDonald’s Robbery Arrests

CHESTERFIELD  – Four men apprehended during
a traffic stop in the 2100 block of Willis Road on Thursday, Sept. 26, have
been arrested and charged in relation to a robbery in Dinwiddie County.

At
about 6 a.m. on Sept. 26, Chesterfield police, with the assistance of Virginia
State Police, conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle believed to be involved in
the robbery of a McDonald's in Dinwiddie County.

The
following subjects, who were found in the vehicle, were ultimately arrested and
charged in relation to the Dinwiddie robbery:

  • Shatik U. Jackson, 19, of the 300 block of
    Shetland Court;
  • Cornelius E. Clayton, 19, of the 600 block of
    Fritz Street;
  • Robert L. Booker, 19, of the 4300 block of
    Bridgewood Road;
  • And Durrell Graves, 27, of the 3400 block of
    Meadowdale Boulevard.

These
suspects currently face charges of robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery,
abduction and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, among other
charges.

Investigators
continue to work to determine whether these suspects were involved in other
robberies in the Richmond area. Additional charges are pending.
