After months of anticipation, the Washington Redskins officially opened its training camp in Richmond Thursday.
Practice began at the Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center with a 10 a.m. walkthrough, which was open to the public.
Hundreds of fans flooded the new camp facility, located behind the Science Museum. Fans got pictures and autographs from players, including quaterback Robert Griffin III.
PLayers even picked kids to walk across the field with them after practice.
