Fire Breaks Out At Chesterfield County Transformer

CHESTERFIELD, VA—Chesterfield County emergency crews are working to extinguish a fire that
broke out at a transformer Wednesday afternoon.

The fire broke out at an inactive transformer located in the 7400 block of
Midlothian Turnpike, near Chippenham Parkway.

Chesterfield County fire officials say the fire does not pose a hazard to the
community and has not caused any power outages.
