State Police Cruiser Involved In 2-Car Wreck; No Injuries

HANOVER,
VA—No one was injured when a Virginia State Police cruiser ran off the road and
struck a stopped vehicle, causing both cars to overturn early Wednesday
morning.

It happened
around 8 a.m. near the intersection of Atlee Station Road and Sliding Hill Road
in Hanover County.

Police say Trooper A. J. Sabol was driving
his state issued cruiser when the vehicle ran off of the road and struck a curb
at the entrance to Kings Charter Shopping Center. 

The trooper's vehicle then struck a car that was stopped at a
stop sign, and both vehicles overturned.

No one was injured in the wreck. The crash remains under
investigation.
