Former Spotsylvania Coach Arrested For Inappropriate Relationship

Spotsylvania County, VA—A
former Spotsylvania County Schools assistant coach is behind bars, after police
say he engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a teenage Courtland High School student.

In
the course of an investigation, detectives revealed a six-month relationship
between 35-year-old Keith Bradley Pendleton of Spotsylvania
and the unidentified 17-year-old female student.

Pendleton
has been arrested and charged with one count of felony indecent liberties, one
count of distribution of drugs to a minor, and three counts of contributing to
the delinquency of a minor. 

Police
say none of the alleged offenses occurred on school property or during school
hours.

Pendleton,
who was formerly a Para educator and assistant
coach, is currently being held at Rappahannock Regional Jail with no bond.
