Ceremony To Honor Fallen State Troopers

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) – Virginia State Police will hold a ceremony to honor 59 troopers who died in the line of duty.
The annual memorial service Friday will give special recognition to two troopers who were killed since October.
Trooper Andrew D. Fox was killed while directing traffic on special assignment in Hanover County on Oct. 5.
Master Trooper Junius A. Walker was fatally shot March 7 by a motorist on the shoulder of Interstate 85 in Dinwiddie County.
The service will be held at the Virginia State Police Gymnasium in Chesterfield County.
