HENRICO, VA—Three 911 calls, three lives saved.
In just a 24 hour period, first responders at Henrico County's Fire Station #10 received three different calls for a patient in cardiac arrest.
In each case, the patient beat the odds—odds that are hard to beat.
The survival rate for patients who suffer cardiac arrest is only 11 to 12 percent, according to Henrico County Fire Capt. James Mellon.
