Richmond Police Search For Clues In Cold Case

RICHMOND, VA—It's been nearly nine months since a Richmond Family Dollar employee was gunned outside the store, and there's still been no arrest in the case.

Milton Jackson, 51, was shot and killed outside the Family Dollar on Jefferson Davis Highway near Summer Hill Avenue; it happened July 24.

Jackson, the assistant manager, had just closed the store for the night and was at his car when police believe three men approached him and tried to rob him.

Three suspects were seen fleeing the area the night of the shooting, July 24, but Richmond Police say the case has gone cold and haven't made any arrest.

Now, Richmond Police are hoping for a break in the case.
