(ABC News)–George King was born in Cheltenham, U.K., weighing 15 pounds, 7 ounces–double the average weight for a newborn.
George's mother, Jade King,
delivered him naturally. But he became stuck in the birth canal, losing
oxygen for five minutes.
George is now six weeks old with no signs of
brain damage. The heaviest newborn weighed 23 pounds, 12 ounces,
according to Guinness World Records.
