HANOVER, VA- Parents in Hanover County will have a chance to weigh in on next year's school budget in a meeting Thursday.
Currently the school system is short $5.4 million dollars heading into the next school year.
Proposals on the table include giving teachers more classes to teach and even charging students to participate in after school activities.
A meeting will take place at 6 p.m. Thursday at the school board office, located at 200 Berkley Street in Ashland.
