2 Women Sought In Credit Card Theft, Fraud In Hanover

HANOVER, Va. –The Hanover County Sheriff's Office is asking for help to identify two women suspected of using stolen credit cards to purchase more than $10,000 worth of merchandise.

The suspects stole multiple credit cards from a vehicle parked in a lot where a sporting event was taking place, according to authorities.

The suspects then used the stolen cards at several locations in the Metro Richmond area, primarily electronics stores, deputies said.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact the Hanover County Sheriff's Office at (804) 365-6140 or the Metro Richmond Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000. Citizens can also text Crime Stoppers at 274637 (CRIMES), using the keyword “iTip” followed by their tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
