RICHMOND, Va. (AP) – The clock is ticking for Virginia voters who want to cast in-person absentee ballots.

The State Board of Elections says Saturday is the final day to submit those ballots, and all localities across Virginia will be open a minimum of eight hours to accept them. The state's voter ID laws apply to absentee in-person voting.

Registered voters in Virginia can cast absentee ballots if they meet certain criteria. The deadline has already passed to seek an absentee-by-mail ballot.
