Suspect Sought In Chesterfield Bank Robbery

CHESTERFIELD, VA – Police are searching for the person who robbed a bank Thursday afternoon in Chesterfield County.

The Wells Fargo bank branch at 4400 W. Hundred Rd. was robbed around 4:30 p.m. Thursday, police said.

A woman entered the bank and passed a note demanding money to a teller at the bank, according to police. The suspect then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a black female about 35 to 45 years old, approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall with a thin build. The suspect was wearing what appeared to be a short, reddish brown or auburn wig, eye glasses, jeans, a light-colored T-shirt with a flag on it and a red scarf.
